Master Mac Split Screen with Tile Windows
Tired of manually dragging and resizing windows to view a document and an email side-by-side? macOS makes side-by-side multitasking seamless with Tile Windows.
Hover your mouse over the green full-screen button in the top-left corner of any open window. A menu will pop up offering options like Tile Window to Left of Screen or Tile Window to Right of Screen. Click one, and then select your second window for the other half.
Your Mac will lock both windows into a clean, split-screen layout. You can drag the center border to adjust sizing, allowing you to reference notes, copy data, or research without constantly switching windows.
