As a general rule, whenever someone talks about a "life hack" or a "productivity hack" I'm extremely skeptical. But I stumbled upon a product I feel compelled to pass on. It's the Analog by Ugmonk. I saw it during a desk setup video on YouTube and it immediately clicked. Yes. . .it's a fancy wood card holder. But for me, it's my "focus hack". At the end of each day, I write down the list of the most important things I need to accomplish the following day. And it's right there staring me in the face. So if I ever find myself sitting there wondering what to do with myself, the Analog keeps me on task. And. . .right behind the white card with the daily goals is another card that contains my goals for the month. Of course, there are an infinite number of To-Do list apps. And they’re all fantastic - if you use them. But me, I’ve found I work best when I hand write things - even notes. My mind just retains it better. And there’s that steady drop of dopamine as you color in the circle upon accomplishing an item from your list.

This won't work for everyone, but for anyone who needs a little nudge to keep them moving, the Analog is perfect - and it looks great on your desk too.
